Outreach Mission

Jesus asked us to “Go into the world and proclaim the Gospel to every nation.” We at Holy Family took those marching orders and are “going out” to every parishioners home and sharing our love for Christ!

How does it work?  We choose 2 weeks in the month of April and recruit volunteers who will are friendly and out-going. Two people make the visit to a parishioner who has received a letter from the pastor announcing the expectation of a visit. They come with a gift bag containing holy water, book of prayers, cross and the latest bulletin.  Parishioners who are visited share their story of how long they’ve been at the parish and many times how God has touched their family. It is a time to listen and share with one another an experience with God.

The Outreach visitor invites the parishioner to a current event, and prays with them for any special intention.
