Holy Family Parish

Women parishioners of all ages are invited to join the Women’s Guild to get to know one another through a variety of activities. The Guild can be described by the letter “S”—we promote Spiritual, Service, and Social activities. There are no meetings, but we do have a number of activities each month. By paying annual dues of just $5, you will receive a newsletter and calendar of activities.

Thursday, November 20	Movie Night at Showplace 16 Due to the closing of the Colonial Village Cinema, we will be moving our movie nights to Showplace 16 on East State Street (east of I-90). We will attend the 6:45 showing of The Secret Life of Bees. Following the show we will meet at the Forest City Pub and Grill at the Ramada for a drink and/or bite to eat and to critique the movie.
Tuesday, November 25	Morning Coffee at A Movable Feast Join us at the 8:30 a.m. Mass and/or just for “coffee” and conversation following Mass at A Movable Feast in the Edgebrook Shopping Center. We usually sit and chat over breakfast for an hour or so and solve all the world’s problems.
Monday, December 1	Monthly Church Cleaning Join us for an hour or so to clean the church following the 8:30 a.m. Mass. “Many hands make light work.”
Thursday, December 4	Our Guild’s Third Annual Christmas Party This party is always so much fun! You won’t want to miss it. Watch the newsletter, your mail, and this site for more information.
Friday, December 5	Monthly Rosary Following the 8:30 a.m. Mass, we will meet in Our Lady's Chapel in the Harte Center chapel to pray the rosary for the intentions of our Guild members. If you have any special prayer requests, please e-mail them to annsomers@insightbb.com by Thursday, December 4.
Tuesday, December 9	Advent Morning of Reflection Please join us for the 8:30 a.m. Mass followed by an inspirational talk by Fr. Paul Lapinski who will speak on “Christ Taking Flesh”. A continental breakfast will be served after Mass. All parishioners and their guests are invited to attend this free event.
Tuesday, December 28	Morning Coffee at A Movable Feast Join us at the 8:30 a.m. Mass and/or just for “coffee” and conversation following Mass at A Movable Feast in the Edgebrook Shopping Center. We usually sit and chat over breakfast for an hour or so and solve all the world’s problems.
Friday, January 2	Monthly Rosary Following the 8:30 a.m. Mass, we will meet in Our Lady's Chapel in the Harte Center chapel to pray the rosary for the intentions of our Guild members. If you have any special prayer requests, please e-mail them to annsomers@insightbb.com by Thursday, January 1.

Wednesday, April 15	Spring Bus Trip Join us as we travel to Rock Island to enjoy lunch and the new musical comedy “Church Basement Ladies” at the CIRCA 21 Playhouse.
