Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 |

Our parish is currently undertaking a process that will help parish leadership understand "where we are currently at" as a parish community. The process will result in recommendations as to "where we need to go" based on information collected from families with school aged children. Each family is asked to submit one survey. Using the link below, please complete one survey per family within the next two weeks:
Parish Family Survey
Thank you for helping our parish grow as a community by completing this survey.
Parent Information
Are your children enrolled in Holy Family School? If not, do your children attend Holy Family Religious Education CCD program? Did you know our parish offers Religious Education for all children starting in first grade? AND ALL children who do not attend a Catholic school should be registered in the Religious Education CCD Program.
A special note to parents of children who have not attended classes in the past and/or have not been BAPTIZED, made their FIRST RECONCILIATION or received their FIRST COMMUNION, please call the Religious Education office at 397-9395. We have all the resources and materials necessary to update and prepare older children for sacraments.
Classes begin September 15 & 16. Pre-registration through the Religious Education Office is necessary before being assigned to a classroom.
Grades 1-5 | Jr. High Grades 6 & 7 | Confirmation Class, Grade 8 | Adult Participation
Grades 1 – 5
There are two sessions to choose from: Tuesday afternoon, 4:00-5:15, and Wednesday evening, 6:15-7:30. Classes are held at Holy Family School.
Our textbook series, Call to Faith, presents our Catholic faith in an accurate and authentic way consistent with the age and readiness of the child. With the aid of our textbook and other available resources, the Catholic faith is passed on to our children to help them become knowledgeable and active members of the Body of Christ.
Classes begin with grade one and are built upon in each subsequent grade. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are received in the second grade.
Junior High Grades 6 and 7
Classes meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30 at Holy Family School.
Our curriculum is based on Scripture and on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We use the Teen Timeline from the Great Adventure Bible Study Series plus a wide variety of other resources available to our teachers.
Through this Christ-centered curriculum, based on prayer and faith development, students discover how a relationship with Jesus is important and relevant to their lives. Activities and discussions provide challenges and opportunities appropriate for the middle school student.
Confirmation Class, Grade 8
Confirmation classes also meet at Holy Family School on Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:30. As we prepare our students to stand before their community and confirm their faith, we use the textbook Confirmed in the Spirit in addition to the Scriptures and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Adult Participation
Interested adults (parents, relatives, adult siblings) and mature teens are encouraged to participate in the Religious Education program as teachers or aides. The requirements for teaching are few. You must be a practicing Catholic with a desire to share your faith and you must have a love of children and be able to work appropriately with them. Training and supplies will be provided. There are no Religious Education fees for children of teachers.
Aides provide support to teachers and the Director of Religious Education during class sessions. Fees are reduced for children of aides.
For more information regarding participation as either a teacher or an aide, please call Carol or Joellen at 397-9395.
