Bridge Marathon

Join us for a fun night of contract bridge once a month from September through May.  We typically meet on the third Saturday night at members' homes.  Contact Sharon or Richard Rose at 815-316-9792 for more information.

Dinner Club

The Holy Family Dinner Club was organized in 1979 and has been meeting the second week of each month since then.

The objectives are to provide an opportunity for parishioners to gather to enjoy good fellowship, good food, and to support members in their daily lives.

The Wednesday afternoon program is held at a local restaurant or in the Family Room with a catered meal.  A short business meeting is held concluding with a guest speaker or program.  We welcome all parishioners.  Check the parish bulletin for the location of our monthly event, or contact Helen at 877-0952.

Knights of Columbus and Ladies’ Auxiliary

The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is the world’s largest men’s service organization.  Through charity and example, the Knights stand in service to all as witnesses to Jesus and the Good News of the Gospel.  We volunteer our time, energy, and talents to the greater Glory of God.  Over 1.7 million members world-wide donated 72 million hours volunteering service to their church, family, community, and youth.

Here at Holy Family we are blessed to have 117 active members that are following the example of our founder Father Michael McGivney (who is presently being proposed for sainthood).  We are active in helping our parish and its members by hosting events such as our Pancake Breakfasts, that are held quarterly, and by giving monetarily to new seminarians, youth groups, and to our church.

If you are interested in joining the Knights of Columbus Council 13123, please contact Judy at 397-9395.  You may also send an e-mail to kofcholyfamily@aol.com.

The purpose of the K of C Ladies Auxiliary is friendship and assistance to the K of C, the church, and the community.  They actively planned the May Crowning, held a garage sale, and worked along side the Knights in their many various projects as well as hosting their own.  Anyone interested in joining the Auxiliary, call Judy at 397-9395.

Blackhawk Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America

Cub Scout Pack 139—Grades 1-5
Cub Scouting combines fun with educational activities to promote lifelong values.  The boys learn honest, bravery, and respect by participating in activities they enjoy (field trips, outdoor study, games, crafts, and skits).  It’s an assist to parents, as well, in helping their boys strengthen character, develop good citizenship skills, and enhance both mental and physical fitness.  Contact Judy at 397-9395.

Boy Scout Troop 139—Grade 6-12

Open to all boys ages 11 through 18.   We have a very active troop and provide a wide range of recreation that includes camping, hiking, cycling, and high adventure trips, plus many other activities throughout the year.  Meetings are held from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings during the school year.   Questions?  Contact Judy at 397-9395.

Girl Scouts

Calling all girls ages kindergarten through eighth grade.   A number of troops are active at Holy Family—from Daisies to Juniors.  Throughout the school year, girls participate in a variety of fun activities to learn about the world around them and to serve our parish and community.  For more information about the program or to volunteer as a leader, call the Rock River Valley Council of Girl Scouts at 962-5591.
