Baptism

Baptisms are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month after the 12:30 pm Mass. First-time parents are asked to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class, which is held on the 1st Saturday of the even months.  Arrangements are to be made by calling Teresa at the Harte Center Office, 815-398-4280 or email tlantz@holyfamilyrockford.org.

Reconciliation

Saturday 9:00-9:45 AM and 3:15-4:15 PM.

Wednesdays 4:45 PM - 5:30 PM

First Holy Communion

Second grade students begin preparing for this Sacrament during 1st grade. First Communion will be May 7, 2011.

Confirmation

Eighth grade students will be prepared and readied for receiving confirmation during Jr.High Religion Class, if they are enrolled at Holy Family School, or on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45 PM during Religious Education. Confirmation date for 2011 will be March 27 at 4:00 PM.

RCIA—Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

Classes are held on Monday evenings, beginning in September at 6:30 PM in the Msgr. Bales Meeting Room of the Harte Center.  Please contact Fr. Bernie Sehr at 815-398-4280 for more information.

 

Marriage

The soon-to-be bride and/or groom should contact Msgr. Kagan at 815-398-4280 at least 6 months prior to their wedding date.

Please contact a priest to talk about possible vocations or call the Chancery Office at 815-399-4300.

Anointing of the Sick

Please call the Harte Center Offices at 815-398-4280 to arrange for a priest to visit you or a loved one.
