Baptism

Baptisms are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month after the 12:30 pm Mass. First-time parents are asked to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class, which is held on the 2nd Thursday of every month in the St. Therese Room of the Harte Center - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Arrangements are to be made by calling the Harte Center at 815-398-4280.

Reconciliation

Saturday 9:00-9:45 AM and 3:15-4:15 PM.

First Holy Communion

Second grade students begin preparing for this Sacrament during 1st grade. First Communion will be April 25, 2009.

Confirmation

Eighth grade students will be prepared and readied for receiving confirmation during Jr. high Religion Class, if they are enrolled at Holy Family School, or on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45 PM during Religious Education. Confirmation date for 2009 has not been set yet.

RCIA—Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

Classes are held on Monday evenings, beginning September 8 at 6:30 PM in the Fireplace Room of the Harte Center.  Please contact Fr. Randy at 815-398-4280 for more information.

 

Marriage

The soon-to-be bride and/or groom should contact one of the priests at 815-398-4280 at least 6 months prior to their wedding date. Only a priest can give out the availability of dates.

Vocations

Please contact a priest to talk about possible vocations or call the Chancery Office at 815-399-4300.

Anointing of the Sick

Please call the Harte Center Offices at 815-398-4280 to arrange for a priest to visit you or a loved one.
