Band at Holy Family is open to 4th -8th grade students. Classes meet twice a week. Band is run by Music Education Services and therefore there is a tuition is $44.00 a month. Rental of instruments is also available.

Band students play three big concerts a year where all the Catholic and private schools are combined. Each band also plays two concerts just for their school. One is in December and one is in May.

Other band activities include:

• Intermediate and Advanced band students play in Pep Band for basketball games
• Advanced band performs for an Ice Hogs game
• Advanced band tours Rockford in February
• Intermediate and Advanced bands go on tour in spring
• Band students may choose to march in the Memorial Day Parade
