ReadingThis year we will be working with a variety of reading material. Including the text, McGraw-Hill Reading, and 2 novels. We will be reading Hatchet in the 3rd quarter, and The Great Gilly Hopkins in the 4th Quarter. There will be daily discussions, activities and weekly quizzes. The students will also be responsible to complete the following: 1st Quarter - 10 Accelerated Reader points 2nd Quarter - 10 Accelerated Reader points and a book report 3rd Quarter - 15 Accelerated Reader points and a book report 4th Quarter - 20 Accelerated Reader points and a book report I hope that the students will learn and also
enjoy the different styles we will be working on. I also encourage each
student to read from a variety of different genres (mystery, biography, science
