Reading
During first quarter we will read out of the text book. We will read a different story each week. At the end of the week there will be a quiz over the story which will include comprehension, vocabulary, and reading skills.
The novels we will be reading this year are:
AR points will be due each quarter. The point totals required vary by quarter. A student must receive an eighty percent or better on their AR quiz to count the points toward their goal.
- First quarter requires the students earn 10 points
- Second quarter requires the students earn 10 points and complete the book report.
- Third quarter requires 15 points and a book report.
- Fourth quarter requires 20 points and a book report.
