Classroom Procedures
- Students' folders are sent home on a daily basis.
All correspondence between teacher and parents is placed in the child's
folder to be brought home at the end of each day. Every morning that
same folder is returned to school with any information from the parents.
The student's folder is the way I communicate on a regular basis with the
parents of the students in my classroom.
- Students have Homework every weekend. The Homework
is due in class every Monday.
- Any money sent to school must be identified and contained
in a sealed envelope marked with the child's name.
- If you know your child is going to be absent or tardy
for any reason, please notify me in writing prior to the expected absence.
- If your child's routine for after school pick-up is different
than usual, please inform me of the change so I can remind your child
at dismissal time.
- A healthy snack is provided to the students each morning
at about 10:00. The snack is provided to the children on a rotating
basis by the students in the class. A Snack Schedule is drawn up
each month so parents are aware of when their child is responsible for
bring the snack for the class.
- Students must have tennis shoes to participate in P.E.
class.
- White Family Envelopes are sent home every Friday.
Contained in the white envelope is important information from the school
office. The white envelope is signed and returned in the child's
folder the following.
