Arrival. Students come in and choose to sit and play with a few selected activities or toys on the carpet. |
| 8:35- 8:50 |
Clean-up and gather on carpet for Circle Time. Sing hello song and morning prayer, followed with special songs of the day. Read the morning message telling who our helper is. Introduce the theme of the day and discuss it with students. Read a story related to the theme. Count the students. Discuss the letter, number, shape, or color we are learning about. Acknowledge birthdays. Explain centers for the day.
- Centers:
- Purple Table - fine motor manipulatives
- Red Table - Art project
- Blue Table - Skills (name sheets, numbers, letters, cutting, shapes)

Students rotate centers every 5-7 minutes. |

Book time. Sing our weather song and discuss the weather. Prayer before snack. Wash hands. |

Snack time. |
| 10:10-10:25 |
Explorative play. Children can play in the centers of their choice. Centers are always changing, but include:

•Science
•Listening
•Reading
•Sensory table

Outdoor play if weather permitted or inside large motor activity. |
