This is a very special year for your children as we prepare for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. We will be using a special book for each of these and we will be doing many extra activities to prepare. First Reconciliation is usually in January on a Wednesday night at the church. First Eucharist is after Easter in April or May on a Saturday morning. Parents attend an information meeting about the sacraments in the fall. In March we have a wonderful Saturday morning Communion workshop for the children and the parents.
We also have a second grade religion book that we do throughout the year. It is Blest Are We published by Silver, Burdett and Ginn. They have a web site that you may want to visit: http://www.blestarewe.com

We Go in Peace
Every Friday we attend Mass with our 7th Grade partners. We also have several prayer services throughout the year.
