Topics
- Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division expressions and
equations
- Integers
- Exponents, matrices, and polynomials
- Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of rational numbers
(fractions)
- Inequalities
- Graphing equations and inequalities
- Using formulas
- Solving for variables
Grading
- Tests: Students will be notified of tests at least 2 days
prior.
- Quizzes: May be given any time.
- Homework: Homework will be assigned on most days. I will
not assign homework the night before a test, in order to allow time to
study.
- In-class assignments : I encourage students to get
involved in my class whether asking questions or answering questions.
I also expect students to take notes in class and write down examples from
the board to look at later.
Extra Help
I only ask that students let me know
the day before if they are coming in, so I can be sure to be in my room. I am available during the 9th hour studyhall period for students who bring me a pass to sign. Students need to ask for permission prior to working together during studyhall.

Tuesdays: After school
Wednesdays: Before and after school
Thursdays: Not available due to Student Council
Fridays: Before or after school
