7th Grade and Technology

7th Grade continues the focus on technology use as a way to further learning. The focus is not so much on how particular programs work and more on which programs to use to complete a given task. Computer use is incorporated into subject area assignments. Some 7th grade objectives are:
- To use computers ethically and safely
- To understand the many uses for technology in society
- To be able to use basic software programs like word processing, database, spreadsheet, graphic design, and web page creation to complete academic assignments
- To create and present electronic presentations
- To effectively and efficiently use the Internet as a reference and research tool
