Class Procedures
All information from
the school to home will be sent in a student folder each day. If you have
notes for the school or for me, please put them in the folder each day and
we will find it easily and quickly.
Any money sent to school must be in
envelope that is properly labeled for its intention. Be sure your students
name is on the envelope too.
Remember to keep your tennis shoes
in the lockers for our gym classes. They will be left at the school so we
all participate each day.
Please let me know ahead of time if
your student will be missing school or will be late prior to the day of the
absence. An example would be doctor or dentist visits. Please also try to
schedule these appointments after school. Our day is very full, and I do not
want anyone to miss out on our fun!
If your student's usual routine for
after school pick up is different or changes throughout the year, please let
me know so that we can remind them and get them home safely.
We will have snack time each morning. The snack schedule goes home monthly, and we note birthday treat days too. All students get a chance to bring the healthy
snack for the entire class. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Each Wednesday the school White envelopes
are sent home. After you have reviewed the material, please sign the envelope
and return it the next day. It will then be filled and sent back on
the next Wednesday.
Be sure to take a look at the weekly notes sent home.
My note will have information on what we are doing, what is coming up next,
and what you can do to fortify all we cover at school. It will also have requests
for items to donate for art projects and other needs in our class. The Weekly Webb notes will come to you in the envelopes, or they will be sent to your email address through TeacherEase. Be sure that you have filled out the TeacherEase email form and returned it to the office to receive important information throughout the year! As we
plan for field trips, we will have all the information in the weekly notes.
Keep watching and continue to ask your child what went on in school. You
will know what to ask about to get the conversation going!
