Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us

this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into

temptation, but deliver us from evil.  Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.  Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without

end.  Amen.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy!  Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!  To you we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to

you we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.  Turn then, O most gracious advocate, your eyes of

mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus.  O clement, O loving, O sweet

Virgin Mary!  Amen.

Morning Offering
Note: Before saying the morning offering, establish a special intention that will be referred to at the end of the prayer.
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day.  For all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart.  In union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world.  In reparation for all my sins.  For the intentions of us all associated with Holy Family Catholic School, and, in particular, for our special intention of this day.

Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.  I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.  He was

conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.  On the third day He rose again.  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of Father.  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.  Amen.

Act of Contrition
Oh my God, I am sorry for my sins.  In choosing to sin and failing to do good, I have sinned against You and Your church.  I

firmly intend, with the help of Your Son, to make up for my sins and to love as I should.  Amen.

Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from

Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.  Through Him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven:

By the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried.  On the third day he rose again in

fulfillment of the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He will come again in

glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and

the Son He is worshipped and glorified.  He has spoken through the Prophets.  We believe in one holy catholic and

apostolic Church.  We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.  We look for the resurrection of the dead, and

the life of the world to come.  Amen.

The Ten Commandments
1.  I am the Lord your God.  You shall not have other gods besides me.

2.  You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.

3.  Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.

4.  Honor your father and mother.

5.  You shall not kill.

6.  You shall not commit adultery.

7.  You shall not steal.

8.  You shall not bear false witness against you neighbor.

9.  You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.

10.  You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

The Beatitudes
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

We are poor in spirit when we know that we need God more than anything else.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the land.

We are gentle and patient with others.  We believe we will share in God's promises.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

We try to help those who are in sorrow or those who are hurting.  We know God will comfort them.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

We try to be fair and just toward others.  We share what we have with those in need.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

We forgive those who are unkind to us.  We accept the forgiveness of others.
Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God.

We try to keep God first in our lives.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

We try to bring God's peace to the world.  When we live peacefully we are known as God's children.
Blessed are they who suffer persecution for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

We try to do what is right even when we are teased or insulted.  We believe we will be with God forever.
